Thanksgiving in modern day,(Right now)is having a big feast with your family,Spending time with your family/friends.Today i am going to give you a lot of information and a video about how it all happened.When the pilgrims were in the mayflower and met the tribe,they had a feast because of having a lot of food or surplus.In New York City 5,000 pumpkin pies are created each thanksgiving holiday.If you like football this can also relate because the first game that they celebrated thanksgiving was in 1934 and in the game you might know these teams because they play in the NFL even now.It was the Lions vs Bears and i'm sure you still know these teams if you watch NFL.When the pilgrims had the feast with the tribe they didn't have certain foods like we do right now.They are Cranberries not mashed,Pumpkin pie,and Potatoes not mashed.The videos will be listed below and there's a lot of them and i got all this information from www.history.com.
